Job Description
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The
successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality, delectable
dishes in line with our restaurant's culinary standards. The Chef will play a pivotal role in
contributing to the overall dining experience, ensuring that our patrons are treated to an
exceptional culinary journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Menu Planning and Development:
● Collaborate with the management team to plan and develop an innovative and
appealing Pakistani/Indian menu
● Introduce new dishes and adapt existing ones to meet customer preferences and
seasonal availability.
Food Preparation:
● Oversee the preparation and cooking of all dishes to maintain high-quality
standards.
● Ensure the timely and efficient production of menu items.
Culinary Expertise:
● Demonstrate expertise in preparing a variety of Asian dishes, with a focus on
Pakoras, Parathas, Jaleebis, Halwa Poori, and other traditional items.
● Stay updated on culinary trends and continuously enhance skills to bring
creativity to the kitchen.
Quality Control:
● Implement rigorous quality control measures to guarantee consistency and
excellence in every dish.
● Conduct regular tastings to monitor and maintain the authenticity of flavors.
Kitchen Management:
● Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
● Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain optimal
kitchen operations.
Training and Development:
● Provide training to kitchen staff to enhance their skills and maintain a high level
of proficiency.
● Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Customer Interaction:
● Collaborate with the front-of-house team to understand customer preferences
and feedback.
● Be available to address customer inquiries or concerns related to the culinary
aspects of the dining experience.
Qualifications:
● Minimum proven 2 years experience as a Chef with expertise in preparing Asian cuisine,
specifically Pakistani dishes.
● Culinary qualifications or relevant Experience 2 years minimum
● Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
● Excellent leadership and communication skills.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £26,500.00-£31,000.00 per year
